| Oven Fire 16606 Carr Rd. 3/21/10 |
On Sunday March 21st Kendall received a call for an oven fire at 16606 Carr rd. A rescue
and pumper from Morton, a ladder from Holley and a FAST team from Hamlin were
automatically started at the time of dispatch. Kendall 1 called on scene with a small fire
contained to the oven with no extension to the structure and canceled the neighboring
assignments. Kendall 34 continued down the long driveway while 33, 52 and 60 stood by at
the hydrant out at the road. A fire extinguisher was used to put the fire out and the contents
were removed. The front hand line was used to wet the oven contents down once outside
the house.
